It’s time for Tulips!
National Tulip Day has existed since 2012. On Saturday 15 January 2022, we will celebrate it again. This day marks the start of the new tulip season, which runs until the end of April.
The National Tulip Day is a unique Dutch tulip festival, traditionally held on the 3rd Saturday in January. Every year, a real tulip-picking garden is set up on Dam Square in Amsterdam. Where all visitors can pick a bunch of tulips for free. Unfortunately, due to the strict corona regulations, a picking garden is not possible this year either.
The theme of the new tulip season 2022 is 'Share Happiness'. This year we celebrate the sharing of joy, the tulip is of everyone and certainly for everyone.
The Dutch tulip is world famous and associated with the Netherlands and clogs, but originally comes from Turkey. The flower comes in many different shapes and colours and is widely available in more than 1,000 different varieties until the beginning of May.
Dutch Tulips bring spring into your home and add colour to your day!
