Inspiration and tips!

Lisette van de Kommer, our in-house stylist, will regularly share her inspiration with us by making various flower-arrangements. For example a trend bouquet inspired by the season, with various flowers and colour trends. But, also possible, an arrangement for mourning or - wedding.

Last week Lisette made some bouquets and we were very pleased with the result. The photography has been done by byliek.com, which resulted in many beautiful images.

To make sure to enjoy a bouquet or arrangement for a longer time, there are some conditions you should take to treat such a 'Happy-Maker'. Of course, we always prefer a fresh bouquet or arrangement, so you can enjoy it optimally and for a longer period. Always make sure, the vase or pot is clean. It may contain residues and bacteria from old flowers that will shorten the vase-life of your new bouquet. For an optimum water-uptake, the stems have to be cut at an angle and placed in clean, cold to warm water and added by a sachet of cutflower-food. Change the water regularly and give your bouquet a nice spot in the house. Do not place it next to fruit, at a draught or near the heating. This causes the flowers to wilt earlier, which is of course not what you want.

Enjoy your flowers!
