December: The most beautiful month of the year

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… We are fast approaching the end of the year. That means Christmas is approaching and then we welcome another new year! Christmas greenery is available in abundance again to add a cosy winter atmosphere to all interiors and make the December month shine. So, apart from the Christmas tree that gets a place in every home, you can once again go out and decorate wonderfully.

Every year there are new Christmas trends. Of course, traditional Christmas decorations - in those typical Christmas colours like red, white, green, gold and silver - will always remain beautiful. White, green and red symbolise faith (white,) hope (green) and love (red). One colour we are going to see a lot of at Christmas this year is copper. It gives just that extra bit of warmth but also works very well in combination with gold. Amaryllis bulbs and (malus) Apples are given a nice wax colour, with or without glitter and a top layer of snow. In fact, nothing is too crazy to make it a party again this year! No, we can't get around it, the holidays are upon us again.

For Nijssen jr. the year 2022 has been an eventful one. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to former director Nico Beentjes, former driver Ed de Vries and our esteemed colleague Gerrit ter Reehorst.

This year we have welcomed a lot of new colleagues. There has been expansion within the sales team, but also a new colleague among the drivers for transport to Germany. Several colleagues have also joined the team on the production floor. So in 2022, the Nijssen team has expanded and grown considerably with pleasant colleagues.

The entire Nijssen team wishes you happy holidays and a successful and, above all, healthy 2023!
